In 1969, man set foot on the moon for the first time. Neil Armstrong got this unique honour and Edwin (Buzz) Aldrin did it next. Neil Armstrong's famous words - A small step for me, a giant leap for mankind - became one of the most quoted line.
However, recent claims/rumours/debates state that the lunar landings never happened. The reason stated are:
Your thoughts please.
- NASA did not have the technology to do it
- NASA could not have ensured the safety of astronauts to protect them from the radiation poisoning of the Van Allen belt
- The shdows of photographs are not paralle
- No blast craters visible under the lunar landing capsule
- US Flag shows some flutter - not possible in the atmosphere-less/windless lunar surface
- And since the Apollo 13 incidece, no attempt has ever been made to go back to the moon. Why not? Isn't there a smallest curiosity to go to the moon again?
