Default Solar eclipse tomorrow - what will happen

Astrologers in India are predicting dire things.
Do you believe in that. What do you think will happen?

Anyone planning to view it or photograph it?

shud b visible from my town almost 90% of it...... aroudn tth time....its been told that surat is one city whr it ll b visible totally n will last for some 2 min .

i m not sure as to wht astrologers have to say on to it....b yes i do believe in some bit of it....as in take a shower once u see the eclipse i think.

My mom told me tht when she was young ...n wheneva there was an eclipse after it was finished thy did some puja n had to wash the whole house from inside.....i was like wow....

it also afftects our horoscopes .....i suppose ......dunno much about it....

also i read in newspaper - an eclipse like this would occur next after some 112 years....... so this is a once in a lifetime oppurtunity coz i m sure i aint reaching 80 also

in our folk stories they tell this. i don't think anyone will know even
what i am mentioning but there is something called olakkai, this is a
thick wooden stick about 5 feet tall and 6 inches thick that we use
to pound rice and make rice flour.

during the eclipse if you put this olakkai in a bucket of water it
will raise and stand up vertically. has anyone heard about this?

no but have you tried it
yes it works. it should be a used one with a flat bottom, that helps
to make it stand. i think it is the alignment of gravitational force
    on the okakkai.

hello miss priyanka, no she won't do that. the chicken was
delicious, today she made fish curry, it was too hot but tasty.
i ate almost a half of cantalupe to cool my mouth and stomach.

but once i saw a glass peice in my lunch. but i think that was
    by mistake.

Lightbulb How to Watch a Solar Eclipse: Dos and Don’ts

    Don’ts During Solar Eclipse
    • Never watch the eclipse with a naked eye.
    • Don’t use Binoculars to view the eclipse.
    • Don’t use Telescope to view the eclipse.
    • Don’t use any cheap or easily available filters in Telescope or Binoculars to view the sun. Only specifically designed filters should be used with Telescope and Binoculars.
    • Don’t watch the eclipse using color film.
    • Don’t watch the eclipse with non-silver black and white film.
    • Don’t watch the eclipse with medical x-ray films with images on them.
    • Don’t use smoked glass to view the sun.
    • All developed films lack a silver emulsion and therefore it should not be used to view the eclipse.
    Do’s During Solar Eclipse
    • You should take the advice of an experienced person or a scientist before planning to view a Total Solar Eclipse
    • Only use specifically designed spectacles designed with filters to view the eclipse.
    • The safest method of viewing a Total Solar Eclipse is by projection, in which a small opening is used to cast the image of the Sun on a screen beyond the opening.
    • It is safe to view the total phase of an eclipse (when the moon completely coves the sun) with naked eye. But one needs to know when to stop and start viewing the total phase. So this is bit risky.
Easy methods to a safe way to watch a solar eclipse

    The Pinhole Projection Method
    1. Here is one way to project the sun’s image:
    2. Get two pieces of cardboard (flaps from a box, backs of paper tablets).
    3. With a pin or pencil point, poke a small hole in the center of one piece (no bigger than the pin or pencil point).
    4. Take both pieces in your hand.
    5. Stand with your back to the sun.
    6. In one hand, hold the piece with the pinhole; place the other piece (the screen) behind it.
    7. The sunlight will pass through the pinhole and form an image on the screen.
    8. Adjust the distance between the two pieces to focus and change the size of the image.
Do not look through the pinhole at the sun.

PS: There is no such force as gravitational force (according to Einstein) which have been proven.
