    Default Cheapest way to ship product from USA to India??

    I am planning to buy WD HD MEDIA PLAYER B-)

    Amazon has got the best rates but unfortunately they ship only to USA!

    Code:
    http://www.amazon.com/Western-Digital-WD-Media-Player/dp/B001JZFQU4/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1244612846&sr=1-1

    Now from Amazon I get the PLAYER + HDMI cable for 100$ approx!

    If I buy the same thing from India I would have to pay around 150-155$ !!!!

    So I was thinking if it would be feasable to recieve it in USA then ship from there to India! But I am not sure about what exactly would be the shipping cost?? I checked on 1-2 sites and found their rates too expensive!!

    So what would be the best way to ship a product from USA to India and how much roughly would it cost?? Any1 has any idea??

    Thnx in advance!

    Why pay 2500 rs more for the same thing!!

    And if you are saying it becoz of Warranty then Warranty can be transferred to India. I have confirmed that with Western Digital!

    you have to buy it not me. I am a typical shop boy who buys only sealed things and asks to open the thing. If the shopkeepa regrets of that he cant open the seal , i move out of his shop.

    hmm okie!! I would still prefer USA as the thing is not available in my city and ordering it from Mumbai or USA would be the same in this case as in both cases I cant physically check the item!!

    totally sucks how some of the sellers on amazon wont ship to india! I have encountered this problem so many times and its frustrating. My cousin brother suggested that I use a parcel forwarding company and have amazon guys ship it to them and then they forward out our stuff to us. After a ton of online research I read some great reviews on a co called shipito. Iused them once to get my laptop from amazon site and they were great! Look them up, you might end up getting a good deal! Best

    FYI they can ship DVDs to india.

    It may take as much as $100 via fedex for the DVD player....even i want to buy hardware from the US as some stuff is a LOT cheaper.

    @all,

    You can use eBay Global Easy Buy services to buy stuff from US resellers. The checkout counter shows the complete price including cost, shipping charges and customs duties. It may be very cheap but at least you can get the latest stuff not available in India.

    No warranty. Buy at your own risk. Only you have price protection.
