Actually, I had crossed 9000 quite a while ago. I was nearing 10K this August. After the mass cleanup of junk mail (offtopic/jokes/other banter), I also lost quite a lot of posts.

Nevertheless, I am happy to achieve the distinction again. This forum rocks as usual.

Yup... Lot of my craps got deleted when the forum went for a overhaul in last August.. In total probably 50000 (or more) posts got deleted, in which my contribution was just over 1500 I guess...

BTW, congrats for reaching 1100 posts...

I'm not sad because of that... They were just chit-chat which I never bothered to read again... Also, I never did it to increase my post count... It was just a time-pass... So, no issues...

Even I lost about 1500 posts - I was close to 9900 or something and came down to 8400 something. And I am not sad either.

There were a few who lost all their life savings.

Yes. I do have the highest number of posts. This has been more or less consistent over the last 12 months or so.

But in my opinion highest number of posts do not mean a thing. The quality of posts are much more important. Also important are those queries raised by newbies. Sometimes such queries elicit deeper and sound responses from many people. Often there are quetions unasked and therefore unanswered. I am very greatful to such newbies who ask some fundamental questions.

OH i forgot!

Now Congrats deepmohan for 1000 posts.
