    Default Problem during online booking of air ticket

    Hi guys,
    my father just booked an air ticket for 3 of us from bangalore to delhi and return on makemytrip.com and he paid via HDFC net banking. Now, after payment was done and when we are suppose to get the ticker and all the details, the we got a server error. The amount of Rs21,000 was debited from the account and we have not got any email regarding the conformation of the ticket or any details what so ever. The phone numbers given lead us to a computer which is of no help as there is no option to speak to a customer service representative. We have emailed them regarding this, but have not got any reply yet. What can we do now ???

    Well i am not aware of makemytrip.com interface. In your makemytrip account you may find booked tickets or failed transactions where you can check whether it got book or not or it got failed. Normally if it has not booked then the money will be refunded to your A/C with in 2-3 Days time or may be lesser.

    thx mate, will ask my dad to check (he in dubai, booked it from there)

    It has been confirmed that the money is lost. The people at make my trip say they have not got the money yet , but the amount has already been debited from the account. People at make my trip say they cant do anything now. What a waste of Rs20,000....

    You can contact your HDFC bank regarding this they will help you out, they can tell you where the money went, if it has not been received by makemytrip as they are claiming then it is with your bank only ask then to credit it back to your account.

    The bank said it has gone to Avenues India ltd. We cant contact them directly and make my trip is just constantly claiming that no payment has been done. We even have a transaction number from HDFC bank. They are not even replying to emails...

    Try contacting Avenues India ltd you can find their no's and e-mails in their website heres the link: Avenues :: Online Payment Gateway Services, India :: Contact Us

    mention your transaction number in response, send mail in each and every mail mentioned in the link for sure you will get response, try contacting them on phone.
