The state Andrapradesh can be divided into Coastal Andhra, Rayalseema and Telungana. A separate state as telunguna was in the agenda for very long. It was last refuelled by the TRS cheif Chandrasekara Rao. Earlier during the 2004 polls, congress tied up the TRS and won the elections with a great margin. Later congress some how managed to overlook this issue. The result being Chandrasekara Rao resigned from cabinet.
Recently TRS Cheif Chandrasekara Rao pledged an undefinite hunger strike building pressure on the central government. Telungana region experienced a bad political climate and centre bowed infront TRS's demand to form a separate state. There was an uproar in AP assembly. Parties other than TRS came with protest causing many ministers and MPs submitting resignation opposing the division of Andra.
Till the posting of this article, there is no definite solution for the issue. Hope the centre will be able to cast a spell and make everything ok.
