you wrote almost right.. but what about physical pleasure,, i didnt understand this point..

well i think that its always good to see the girl first and play with your eyes rather going on straight and talking..thats my personal experience and belief, i think if a girl is very descent she will not like your very straight behaviour..
but at the same time dont be a gay.. or a very introvert.. when the things go on normal and she sees you too lot, talk to her, strating with her current activities etc. and at last ask her name..

gifting a girl is something i think comes after when things are almost sure.. you may gift something girly only when she will trust you completely,..
and please never tell her about your past experience when you are on the first shot.. behave as you are a naive on love and you are f*&%$g virgin..be little confused but please dont be stupid..

there is no chapter to learn for love, all it comes from heart.. i think descent guys will do their ways and the romeos will do their ways...

She was my classmate when i studying at 6th. I had an attraction toward her. I didnt know that was love. But i always wanted to be with her and catch her smile. We had a tour together, but i didnt speak to her because of shy.
After 6th i've changed my school. I felt something lost but didnt realised that was her love. I didnt see her after that. After high school when i pursuing for higher studies i saw her. She saw me but didnt recognize. She got her admission in a school near to me. I didnt get admission in that school. I joined some other school. Then i joined in a collage but i didnt get any details of her. After 2 year i found she is now studying at coimbathoor. I cant forget her. I knw i wont get her. I sympathize with your predicament. Many people of your age go through the same feelings. But what you call "love" is "puppy love". And it is completely one-way street as of now. It is just a physical or emotional attraction.

Your "puppy love" can become "true love" where it can be on both sides. But unless you know the girl well. You said that the Orkut request was rejected. Obviously it was. No decent girl will accept invitations from strangers. You will have to introduce yourself properly - stating that you were classmates ... so and so ... You will have to show pure friendship reasons and mask/block all your other "feelings". If she reciprocates this way then fine. Otherwise you will have to find even more innovative ways in getting to know her.

Note that girls are very selective even in their friends from the opposite sex. You must ask yourself the question, "Why should she be friends with you? What is it that she will find enjoyable about being your friend?". Put yourself in her shoes.
