Thread: Need Some Serious Help here!!!

Hi folks,
As you know that exams are coming these days so, my parents have offered me Rs. 7500 if i can take 80% or more in pre-board exams that are coming next month [feb]. I haven't read anything and my current percentage is 60-75%. I would really appreciate if you can help me to get 80% marks, I just need your suggestions and tips. If i get the money that i've mentioned above, I can buy a new graphic card. Also, it would be good if you can suggest me a graphic card [capable of playing gta4]

first, just switch off your computer for at least 2 months and study, delete the games you are addicted to, else its game over ! I did the same, i deleted warcraft 3 from my PC and gave my external HDD to my mother. After the boards, i played 16 hrs a day ! I got my graphics card and load of other stuff. So, stay focused, i guess 10 odd days would be left for your exam, really really hard to get 80% in pre-boards, but very much possible. I would strongly recommend that you buy all you want AFTER the boards itself and not the pre-boards.

can you suggest me an entertaining way to read books?

Best way would be trying to enjoy it.

lock up ur computer and say ur mom or dad to hide the computer.

and study atleast 8-9 hrs. a day.
and also play outdoor games so that ur mid keeps on going fresh.

Read the lessons that u don't know and try not to think about computer.
also take breaks every 2 hrs.

Yes, I used to study in the presence of my mom in class 10th... Even if she was doing her chores, I used to sit there and study... She also used to sleep wherever I was studying... The kind of concentration I had during that time, sadly never reoccurred...

Thank God that I didn't deal with Computers during my board exams...
I had only one addiction, Study...

Relax, Try Yoga and eat lots of chocolate. Isolate yourself from the elements that distract you... for example delete your gprs setting from your phone and loose your internet connection for starters...

Think about the golden days that would follow after the exams... This is the time when you make your choices ....

See if you start practicing Maths it will become sooo interesting for you that you would solve problems for hours and hours without getting bored.

Studies are just like classical music.... at first no one likes it but those who take the pain and keep doing it they start enjoying it and understanding what it is all about.


It wont be the end of the world if you dont get 85
% but atleast dont leave a chance for anyone to say that you didint try If your parents see you studying day and night and working hard then even if you fall short of 85 you would still get that 7.5k they have promised

Addicted to pc too much. I cut the ac cord. I won't get the money now but i am collecting it myself. Currently i have rs. 2200 i will get 1000 from my friend, 1000 from my father for fair in march, 200 by selling joystick, 300 by selling webcam. there are other sources of money too.
