| Few months back I wondered if it is better to rent a modem from MTNL or buy one. Now I feel it is better to rent one. I bought a dLINK modem. It used to hang after 30 mins. of use. 3 weeks back the the PPPoE light went blank (no internet). It took MTNL one week to confim if the lanline is OK. It was another 10 days of followup that I could get the replacement here in Delhi. As the warranty period is going to lapse soon, I wonder what other costs will come my way. |

Rep Power: 3 | I was under the impression that the GLB-502T is a better version of my D-Link 502T. I was lucky as the time when I bought it I have 3 yrs. warranty while now l8ter came to know that every modem+router by them has now been defaulted to 1 yr. warranty except for the high-end ones. |

| Hi, If you want to buy a Dlink GLB-502T Modem and want it to connect with an UPS for uninterupted power supply or internet than dont go for this. The adapter/modem goes off with a power cut even though its getting power from UPS. |
