Thread: One year at IBF

I have completed one year at IBF on 6 th of this month. On 6th March 2009 I landed here searching how to increase my torrent speed. I have been a regular ever since. Thanks all for you love and support. Thanks.

As I have mentioned here, I didn't knew the difference about KBps and Kbps at that time. I just got torrent and want to learn how I can increase its speed. I landed here and started a thread. cooltechietvm was the first one to answer.

Then I just browsed through the pages and found your then famous signature that My computer is no match to me when it comes to kick boxing. I found it interesting or may be because of that came next day. I browsed through the forum. At that time, I was looking for a good firewall. I used to get huge bills from BSNL and I thought all Firewalls are paid. I was using AVG at that time. Then I learned Comodo Firewall is free. My needs were getting fulfilled here, I was excited of that and starting browsing other sections. Slowly I started answering the questions and found extreme pleasure in helping others. The members here were nice and never insulted me even if I asked a stupid question.

I became a regular member here and I was getting benefitted as I learned new things everyday. The forum helped me keep updated of recent activity in broadband zone. Then there was a change in ownership. I feel that this forum needs a bit more care and at least one moderator. By that way we can sustain the culture we have here. The only reason I and many come here is that we are getting answer not insult here. Recently one Sahil_kr used very bad language about me. I prefer to report than go duelling with him. He did that even after I tried to help him in some of the stupid threads he started. I seriously feel we need someone here who will be able to preserve the culture we follow here.

I understand this may be difficult in account of the new ownership as decision is not taken by regular members of this forum. But Aaron turned out to be a nice person. Apart from the absence of moderator, I do not feel anything bad here. We are getting new members and they are becoming regulars too. I felt very happy when Gaggan said that my thread brought him to IBF. It is an reward beyond all wealth.

great going buddy, really have been a golden find for this forum.

I also agree, IBF is much better than so many other forums in terms of the quality of the people. I would love to see J4K and a few others as Mods again.

It has already been one year since i joined here.
In September 2008 i came here and started a thread for How to Increase my speed.

In this Sept. it will be 2 years.

And lol u joined after i joined and then also u have 2K posts.actually u should have 6K posts if i am not wrong.
