Writing had been a passion of mine ever since I was a kid. So after strolling through communities on facebook I found one of Diary Writers, I thought to give it a go. Once started it became an addiction to me. Not a day has passed for the last year and a half when I have missed penning in my mundane existence on the blank pages of my diary. Below is what I wrote, in what would be the last entry of my journal:
Date: 21st of December, 2012.
Place: Delhi.
7:00 A.M.
Good morning sunshine. The alarm clock is broken, need to put that on my to do list. Now that I come to think of it I gotcha buy a soap too. Lets pray that today the weather will be pleasant. The temperature has been escalating since the past month. No one will believe that the month is December and not mid-June by the look at the temperature needle. What with all the doomsday news going around one would almost believe that the world will end this month.
9:00 A.M.
After finishing my daily chores, bathing in cold water, brushing my teeth (Yup! Exactly in that order, my manners are screwed) and then bathing in my own sweat, I sat for breakfast with my parents. Now I’m a traditional boy I try to get at least one meal with my parents everyday. Today breakfast had to do. So I switched on my TCE Netcam 1310 USB (Evolved from TCE Netcam 310 USB) and sat down for my morning pizza. My parents in Lucknow were having Burgers for Mc D. We had a pretty pleasant chat, discussing topics varying from the escalating price of land on moon to the lag in response time on i-pads while reading newspaper on it. Tell you what they should seriously add more features to i-pad besides bringing in the newspaper.
10:30 A.M.
Had a quick word with my Gf and tweeted my status that I will be going for the loo for 5 minutes. (Another one of my bad habits). It was almost time for my 11 o’clock meeting with clients from Japan. Got dressed up and called the Airtel provider to up my bandwidth to 15 Mbps for the next 3 hours from the regular 8 Mbps. My friends said that I should get the premium package of 15 Mbps unlimited for Rs500/- but I never listened.
So I switched on my Sony VPL-ES30 Projector (Evolved from Sony VPL-ES3 Projector) and presented them my power point presentation made on MS Office 13. Reported back to head quarters about my progress in the deal with the Japanese and now it was my time to sleep.
6:00 P.M.
Woke up to the alarm that was meant to wake me in the morning. I realized that the clock was alright, I had accidently misplaced pm instead of am. It was time to go out with my better half. So I logged into second life for a stroll in the courtyard and then, hopefully , some alone time in the sack with her. It was my 5th date with her and things where looking good. What with all the gadgets dedicated to this game present in the market these days, life has gone better. I even make some money out of it by being a property dealer online.
9:00 P.M.
Everything did not go as planned. But I had no time to waste as my guild was going to storm into Icecrown Citadel in World of Warcraft. It was going to be awesome. The game has gone better since the 7th expansion. All the kids in my complex have done the raid several time over. Its hard to believe that only a couple of years back people still played physical games. Things have surely turned to better ever since the advent of high speed connectivity at cheap prices.
10:45 P.M.
Its better to buy food from e-veggies.in rather than from the local stall. The vegetables are cheaper and fresher. Computer commodities are cheaper than cloth, its also for the better as who needs to go out. Well I sure have gained a lot of weight as I can’t see my feet when I look down standing up. But who cares, as my avatar is skinny with an eight pack.
12:00 P.M.
The strangest thing about today is that there has been a power cut, the first time in a year I think. There has been no power since the last hour I guess. Its so hot that I can feel my blood boiling. And is that the sound of water rushing towards me? How is that possible I’m in the centre of Delh…………
