Strict laws have been passed against ragging in colleges, but it still goes on...
The effects may not be physical alone, but can be extended mental disorders also...

There is no point in telling, "I was ragged, so I should also...."

Discuss the causes and effects of ragging here......

Yeah man, Many students suicide due to ragging, Who faces the loss? INDIA.
But ragging has one plus point too. After facing ragging our will power becomes stronger.
This should be banned though. Principles are so reluctant in our colleges......They set the rules but no one cares to follow.

The ragging was originally meant to make us mentally strong.... But where has it ended up??

Under the cover of ragging, what is happening is hooliganism these days...
Young girls getting abused, even molested, money robbed.... You can't call this ragging....

Once a person looses his mental balance, he may never be able to get it back to the full....
Ragging should be banned as a whole and the ones freaking out must be given maximum punishment possible....

Ya I agree it is a big sin being committed. If we all go against this and protest the success will definitely follow. But the problem is no one cares to protest on the unjust being done.

Ragging the is the worst thing happened to the Indian educational system. It is no excuse that it will make you stronger. The life is very much full of challenges to make you stronger. I have seen the worst part of ragging. Even teachers are unable to stop these kind of behaviour. All I can say is ragging students and those create malwares have same mind. They hurt others for pleasure.

I totally agree.... Strong measures, not just in papers, must be taken to curb ragging....
To completely prevent ragging, there must be some open place for complaining of such incidents.... The anti-ragging squads formed in colleges will have their own limitations.... These hooligans may have political backing which makes taking action against them difficult....

Whenever some action was taken, there was public arousal to support it. That eventually put to rest the political backing of these scoundrels.
