Thread: What should i do with this money?

My father will give me 3000 rupees!
My Current specification-Ram-2GB,HDD-320GB,MOBO-Intel dg31pr,Intel C2D CPU (No Gpu)
What should i upgrade to what limit?
Or i should wait for 5~6k for better upgrade?
Any idea about External Hdd,i don't have any one!

If you play video games, then go for GPU. If you download lot of stuffs, purchase an external Hard Drive. It will also come handy to backup your important data. You may get the 500 GB within that amount.

if i want 1tb,how much it will cost me?

Couple of months back, 1 TB was around Rs. 5500 (after a price hike due to budgets; before that it was around Rs. 4700). You may get a fair idea about the present prices on sites like ebay.

anyways, what do you like doing ? If its music I would suggest you get some decent speakers or headphones. If you want to game, 3k is a bit less for a brand new graphics card which is not $hit. If you are a hardcore downloader , get a 1TB internal drive.
