You may apply for the P.O. post of all the banks across the country immediately after your grads. You can also apply for the posts of the IT officers in most of the banks if you complete MCA. The salary and perks are decent. Avoid ICICI as it will sucks the life out of you.

There are other competitive exams like UPSC and State Public Services which you take on after completing the BCA. Google it.

P.S.- If you belong to OBC, SC or ST, I suggest that never look for private jobs.

You can Prepare for the I.A.S I.P.S competitive examination.
( Even if you are not interested, will prepare you for similar examinations.
Almost All Govt jobs are filled by conducting examinations )
For senior post/s usually a work experience of minimum 2 to 10 years required.

    Para two:
All senior posts are filled by U.P.S.C.
Buy "Employment News " ( published by Govt orgn) available every week.
    Something called "SWOT" analysis ( Strength/weakness/opportunities/threats )
Each individual has to analyse himself/herself.

    Analyse your weakness!!!
for example 1)jumping to conclusions, without proper thought /study !!!
But IAS/IPS Post is for Police,i don't want to be Police officer
    (2) not getting proper information. Assuming something which is incorrect or partly true.
Ya,if this post is for lawyers, then please suggest me the procedure.
    (3) a flippant attitude. rushing with comments without studying the comments/opinions/suggestions of others.

That is a myth that to compete for banking exams, the "Accounts" subject should be strong. I've witnessed many candidates from non-commerce background cracking the P.O. entrances. It just tests your logical and analytical reasoning, aptitude, general awareness about Computers and current affairs and basic English skills. P.O. is the first step you've to take if you wanna become a senior manager.

As I said earlier, you may appear for the post of IT Officer after MCA which is equivalent to the P.O.

Who said IAS is a police job? IAS and IFS are administrative jobs in the Indian Services. No law degree is required for these jobs (Law degree is required only when you want to become a public prosecutor of the CBI's prosecution branch). However, you have to rank well in the UPSC exam to become an IAS or IFS officer. There are other jobs in the Income Tax, Railways, CBI etc. which are allotted to the candidates according to their ranks in the UPSC exam.

Again, you can take the UPSC exam right after your BCA.

Thankyou for clearing my doubts, one confusion again:Between IAS and IPS which is greater?and yes,It post is lesser than "IAS" Na?And ya,Is IAS Is even better than Ph.D?
Can we Opt for "Senior Manager" on MCA Bais without "MBA"?
    And ya,Can i be a "IAS" Officer in BSNL/MTNL?
Is there a benefit of pursuing "LAW" via "Distance"?

IAS goes to better rank holders in the UPSC. IAS and Ph.D are two different things. Former is all about power while latter is all about academics and research.

You can become Senior Manager in a government organization without MBA or MCA. It depends on your work experience and performance.

IAS officer becomes district magistrates, not bada babus in BSNL/MTNL.
If you want an additional degree, you can pursue law through distance learning.

You are too young. Your preferences may change upon time. Stick to one field dude and give it your best. That's the secret of success.

yes no sc-st-obc shall go for the pvt. jobs cause they have the advantage of govt jobs specially booked for them...and also when it comes on promotion, sc-st are given prime over the general guys, so no choices better than this..

Dont waste your time on UPSC or IAS or whatever you call it... its not for people of your caliber.. Try looking for something better. I am sure you can do better then the jobs mentioned in this thread.

Which board did you clear your 12th class exam from and also the 10th class? Which Uni are you doing your BCA from?
Would you like to share some tips for those who are looking to join a BCA course?

    What does NIOS stand for?

We cant have any more subforums as we already have loads that do not relate to our forum and we already have this off topic section for subjects that do not fit else where.. More over there are dedicated forums for students which specifically deal with education and are India specific as well... Pagalguy.com is a good one and that is not the only one... Google it!

I do not wish to disappoint anyone but NIOS or the likes of that are not consdered by private corporates. I mean that no one will say anything openly against them but no one will consider the job application.

@Albert, Admin is right. UPSC is not for you. I am not sure that you have the aptitude for it. When it comes to jobs, you have to start at the bottom, be it government or private; unless you have connections at high places. As far as salary is concerned, what is a good package? Freshers start from anywhere from Rs. 2,000 pm to Rs. 2,00,000 per month. Everything depends upon the knowledge, degree, college, reputation, personal skills and training (and also connections). Finally, mastery over English is very important (unfortunately).

p/s. Have you considered starting a business?
