Some people here maybe coming across a very problem related to their camera mobiles..Not all guys here have a 1.3 Megapixel(or above)..
Some people here have cheaper mobiles with either CIF or VGA cams. These camera have small images as compared to the megapixel ones, and have less details too, as compared. But at last, a picture is a picture and you may want to print them and save them before you inadvertently delete or corrupt your valuable images...so heres a small trick that you can make.. I think i have already mentioned some of these tricks in some threads before titled as "Small Image, Big Image" whatsoever, i shall continue in this post of mine..
1st.. You should know how to take images out of your phone.. For this you may like to buy a data cable corporated with a software called P.C suite that will help you move your data and save it somewhere else, for ex. drives, disks or pen cards...but if the phone doesnt have the capability of data cable, chances are there that the phone supports bluetooth...for ex. Nokia 2626 supports bluetooth.. so you can send it to another phone or straight onto a pc that has bluetooth..and you are done.. If still you cannot take out your images, than try sending them as attachments on your email id(if it supports email such as Nokia ovimail or pop mail etc.. you can also send them as attachment on through Opera mini 3.1 / 4 browser).. Or you can download a java app (if supported by your phone) called Linetown email software that accesses your pop emails and you can also send your images via gprs to your email account that you can secondary store later...
for expensive phones there are no problems in data collection...
2nd..your phone has a CIF camera that gives a resolution of 320 x 240 or its a QCIF camera with 177 x 144 resolutions or maybe a VGA with 640 x 480 dimensions, and you want to make your images enough big to be printed so that details can be easily viewed, than you need to resize your image.. This can be easily be done through your MSpaint or photoshop softwares..Resize them to a size not less than 1200 x 1024 to achieve images that can give you best prints.. Mostly people print images of the size 640 x 480, but 1200 x 1024 is a size that can give you prints of highest quality for the cited size..
3rd..After you have resized your pics..Just edit them, as because most of your pictures maybe messed up, corrupted because of resizing and that would have pixelated your pics(means small formations of boxes on image). You can use the smart clear / blur feature of your software to give your image a soft touch.. Vary your contrast. Increase or decrease the saturation. Increase the brightness or increase the darkness. And see which kind will go it printing to the best..You can also try the Auto contrast and Auto brightness feature if available on your software.. This will make your picture great looking.. if that doesnt work you need to work manually on your pic...
4th.. final touches:- You have already done many things.. But you may like to tweak your photo with features like black and white / sepia tones.. This helps because in black and white photos color and contrast are not the basic things.. You may also tweak with using borders of your likes, so that the picture may look interesting.. If your software doesnt have the border facilty just make a box around the image using a standard paint software. you can make a box inside a box at the border of black and dark brown or any color that you like, or you can make a border bold, and with dotted font, that may also do...
This 4th step is though not compulsory but beneficial..
Now you are ready to print your new photos..These are some little tricks that i know. if you know more please dont feel shy to write here and share the power of your knowledge...
