| I'm new to the forum & I love online debates so I thought I would kick off my first post with this, I only just downloaded firefox and i love it, my vote goes to firefox and i will never go back! I mainly like it because it has tabbed browsing, its fast, includes spell checking, you can add extra plugins & extensions! if you use firefox already, upgrade to firefox 2 now, if you don't have it yet, download it FREE from: Firefox Which do you prefer? please cast your vote & give your views... Rep Power: 2 | I too like firefox, but i sometimes find that firefox is too slow to respond and use. I belong to the old school of internet and hence I am not as good as in using tabbed browsing, instead prefer to open a new windows in IE rather than using Firefox. IE is far faster than Firefox. I use IE for general browsing on the net and if i had use any secure sites like banks, etc , i use firefox. By the way can someone tell me the keyboard shortcut for opening a new tab in firefox? |

Rep Power: 2 | The only drawback I feel with Firefox is the memory usage (Pagefile or RAM). The problem I face with Opera and IE is webpages are getting loaded at a slow rate |

Rep Power: 2 | I use Mozilla Firefox. In my opinion, firefox is the best web browser. It is very user friendly. This web browser is faster, more secure, and fully customizable to online life. Firefox includes tabbed browsing, a spell checker, incremental find, live bookmarking, a download manager, and a search system that uses Google. Firefox runs on various versions of Microsoft Windows, Mac OS X, Linux, and many other Unix-like operating systems. |

Rep Power: 0 | I have been using FF since last 3 years . if i remember correctly. Some noticable advantages of FF over IE: 1. Faster loading of web pages 2. Ability to skin 3. Ability to install addons which provides excellent usability and many cool functions. Disadvantage: 1. Memory hog 2. Some sites are designed only for IE ,and dont work as smooth they r supposed to behave . Get this excellent addon IE Tab. Which allows to switch between firefox and internet explorer engines within the FF itself. Nothing more i can thing of .. And i will stick to FF forever |
