Itz jus not phones..if you meet an alien from far above and if you want to show 'em technology at itz sleazy and cutting edge best..you can really look anywhere else but the land of the rising sun..They are ,have been and will be the pioneers of technology..
It is in quality education which make them to think of creative ideas. The education is helping the people in making new creations. But in third world countries like India, education is very limited and mostly spoon feeding and learning things by heart.
Its not just education because in USA also we have high education rates and still they are behind then india in telephone technology as they are still using AMPS.
Its the way of thinking/approach and creativity which makes such difference.
Technology is the main thing and as it Japan is already ahed of other countires of the world in it and it is not only the mobile phones in which they are ahead .. i think they are almost ahead in everything in terms of technology.
Japan is a leader in tecnology and i dont think that we would be equal to them in near future. These people keep investing a lots of new things which is impossbile for us Indians to do right now so i think this is the main reason for Japan being ahead of us.
I feel that the only one reason i can think about is "Hard Work". I have heard that they such great hard workers that even if they perform strike or bandh at work, they do their work partially and making sure that the produce will not reach the market (for example they will make only one shoe and will not make the pair), this is a story i heard about their hard work.
Japan is known for its technology worldwide. If you google a little bit you would see that they have even made robots while all other countires are still trying to make the and by this you can see that mobile industry is notthing.
Japan had very good people in technology development. Their people is really enthusiasm with work so no wonder their technology is really up to date.
I got heard fro someone that electronics goods are very much expensive in Japan. Is this a true thing.
Japan is very much adavnced in terms of technology and this is why Japan is getting to 5 G while we are still stuck with 3 G handsets but still i think it is good that we have these hadnsets.
I agree with you. Our education system relies on rote learning. And thats something that we, as Indians, have to change. Its not goin to b an easy job after which, one fine morning, v find all our students carryin laptops to schools. Its imho a slow process which would take a long long time to catch up with the present age.
I also get a feeling that its got something to do with our religion as well.
I dunno if m correct.

Well in japan 2 major religions are followed shantoism and buddhism. While buddhism started in india I don't think a religion can be a barrier for the education system in our nation. There's lot more. Maybe we can say the social aspects for past so many years we are following a particular format of education that the society has not yet come out of it. I read years back that while a kid is born his/her parents keep lots of possible stuffs in front of the kid whatever the kid picks first from his childhood his guardians try to make him an expert on it.
They have dedicated groups of people working to develop technology and they are fairly paid for that and even if they aren't they try being loyal to their work while here our driving force is money and our employers try paying as less as possible. I imagine how many of us will die being a programmer or a developer. But its not the case with the techno guys in japan.
Well, The japanese are peace-loving and spiritually oriented people, tht's what I feel. Their hardwork and dedication pays off! The technology is avanced and reliable. See corporations like SONY, toyota, HONDA etc.
P.S Did you know if you happen to lose a phone, umbrella, coat etc at a place train or any where, your likely to get it back! why? Ppl do return things they find! Japanese children are taught that they shouldnt take things which arent theirs! In India, is that possible?

You are right but appreciation matters a lot.
We can go far ahead of them, the only thing require is appreciation for particular task done or desire to do something that makes things easy for human life. Our politicians don't have time for other things rather than pulling legs of each other.
Recently read in one of the newspaper that Dr. Sreedharan, Delhi metro rail chief, who also completed several other railway projects like Konkan Railway Project, which was completed within the budget and before the schedule. The work he did, was excellent and for that he got several awards too including Padma Shri. Check this out
Wikipedia, E. Sreedharan
Now check out this story
If person with such a broad experience goes to private sector he gets good package + lots of perks.

While Japan has the most advanced phones in the world and their phones have features that other countries can only dream of, their marketing strategy leaves much to be desired.
you would not find a japanese phone outside japan. thats because they have developed tachnologies that are targetted for the japanese people and such technologies are often not compatible with other world standards.
Dr. Sreedharan was originally associated with the Kolkata Metro project 25 years back. The mistakes he made there and the problems he faced have helped him to develop his present views and outlook. But it had also caused immense hardships to the people of Kolkata while he was going through his learning phase. It is only a Country like India that would allow such a learning process.

>Why Japan so ahead?
-We are to to Back!![]()
Where do you find that? There is no such standard as 5G. These standards are established by ITU & there is no white paper on this 5G. No final technology has been established even for 4G. Arguments is still going on for Wimax IEEE 802.16m & LTE-A( which is winning now).
Only experiments have been conducted according to Wikipedia.:-
PS:Japan is quite far behind us in many technologies also. The Japanese company NTT DoCoMo has been testing a 4G communication system prototype with 4x4 MIMO called VSF-OFCDM at 100 Mbit/s while moving, and 1 Gbit/s while stationary. In February 2007, NTT DoCoMo completed a trial in which they reached a maximum packet transmission rate of approximately 5 Gbit/s in the downlink with 12x12 MIMO using a 100MHz frequency bandwidth while moving at 10 km/h,[12] and is planning on releasing the first commercial network in 2010.

History is on the move,my friends. Those who cannot keep up will be left behind, to watch from distance. And those who stand in its way will not watch at all.http://windows7sins.org/
People are going to tell stories about me none of which change who I really am.
I love Japanese stuff, they have the coolest things.
(I am particularly impressed with my Japanese bamboo

"Made in Japan" is something I look for when I buy things.

What is their defence? Even a puny North Korea send them into shivers.
Space - You know on whose rocket they launch there satellite. In that respect India is self sufficient.
