What and how exactly Virgin Mobiles Work? I have seen some ads on virgin mobiles on news papers and they have advertising to get paid to receive calls on their network. I am confused about. Anyone know what exactly is this new network about. Is it an ISP or mobile phone company etc. Need a lot of clarification to be done for me!!
To the best of my knowledge, they are the mobile company ATM. i think the virgin ppl are in collaboration with the tata indicom. the point is, u r gonna get every 10 paisa for 1 min of the received call.
Virgin Mobile leases out bandwidth from other regular mobile operators. Even in UK, they operate the same way and are the cheapest in that country.
Virgin gets paid for termination charges per phone call. They are offering to pay the subscribers from their part of the termination charges. In UK they are not paying back for calls received but they do offer lower rates.
