    Default help needed in buying a webcam

    please give me some suggestions in buying a good quality webcam my budget is not more than 1200 ,all i want is that there should be no grains in the picture

    The best would definitely be logitech. they really have good variety of webcams. I have a logitech webcam and the picture quality is up to the mark for that price. For you budget, you can get a good quality webcam from them for sure.

    please tell me the model no. of your webcam i am not satisfied with the logitech which i have seen ,i have seen the Logitech quickcam go and the picture quality sucks!!! there is too much grains

    I wonder what Logitech webcam you are looking at. Logitech webcams are the webcams against which others are measured. I have two of them - Quickcam Pro 9000 and Quickcam Orbit AF. Both are rather expensive but the other less expensive ones are very good also. I will recommend Logitech QuickCam Communicate STX which is from the middle range.

    thanks for your suggestion just4kix rather you are saying right that logitech webcams are very good but only in the 4k+ category ...........i have seen many logitech cams in the value for money section but they all sucks too much grains in the video that you cannot recognize yourself!!!! .........i am on a limited budget i just want the photo be clear and fine, no grains please....

    Is Quickcam Communicate STX in the 4k range? I do not think so. It will be more that Rs. 1200 but probably less than Rs. 2000.

    i told you before i cannot spend more than rs1200 ......why to spend more on just a webcam i just need a basic camera otherwise i will just save my money and buy a good digicam or a handycam which can be used as a webcam......
