i would suggest a few things

motherboard:buy the cheapest motherboard available from Asus i dont remember the model no. but it is very good it costs only 3200 or some more but it sports a lot of good features in that price for eg:lan port, pci-e port,8 usb etc

DVDwriter: buy a SATA DVD writer from Asus or Samsung both are very good since i am using the one from Asus its simply great dont buy the writer from HP..its rep. is not good in the market..buy the samsung SH-S203 its the best money can buy and is inexpensive

processor: opt for intel core 2 duo 2.2 ghz it should cost not more than 6000

what about cabinet and power supply ...you haven't mentioned that, don't go in the urge to buy a flashy looking cabinet instead invest in a good 500W power supply from VIP or Antec...if these are not available in your area then go for coolermaster ...if this also is not available then opt for iball which i think should be available

I would advise buying a MoBo that is compatible with Socket 775 so that there is an easy CPU upgrade path to Quad Core in future.

your configuration is alright....but i would like to add a few things...

1.) regarding HD(hardisk) 250 GB is ok but "dont know the brand" is not ok....opt for the brands like WD(Western Digital) or Segate or Hitachi....all are good brands with five years warranty

2.) Why are you wasting your money in a webcam.........you have seen the quality of that cam or not? if you havn't then please see it before buying.......
and please tell which model you are buying ..........because i have seen all the cams which are priced in the range 900-1500 .....all are pathetic ....you will not be able to recognize yourself!!!!!!!.............

3.) Regarding the cabinet ......make sure it has vent for the exhaust at the back side .......and if possible try to look at the cabinets which have both a side vent and back vent for exhaust in which you can add additional 120mm fans .....so there should be no heating probs.

4.) About RAM ........please let us know what brand you are going for.......because with some motherboards there is a compatibility issue .....(as this was seen in my case)......go for the brands like Kingston or Tanscend...
if possible go for Transcend ...........its better than Kingston

5.) Why are you wasting your money in buying a keyboard from logitech........buy any keyboard with a price tag of not more than rs 300....and for mouse go for the brand named Microsoft they are really cheap and are good also.........

In this fast moving world or rather i should say In this fast moving computer world.............
"Today's new is tomorrow's crap"...........

The quality of the webcam doesn't depends upon that how much megapixel is that but the quality of optics used in the webcam i have seen many webcams of
5 MP but they were pathetic i was not able to recognize myself!!!!......even a good quality VGA camera will do better than these.......
