Thread: Tried FireFox 3.0

well mozilla ppl made a world record on 17th i guess.....they have maximum downloads for there FF 3.0 in single day......its the kickass browser.......works fine for me.......anyone tried it yet.

I have tried FF 3 it rocks, it is very fast and customizable

i am also using FF 3.0 to me its normal but there's one thing which piss** me off!!!

the condition was like this, i was earlier using FF2.0 and IE 7.0 everyhting was working fine then i heard abt FF3.0 i installed it and it was running perfectly but................

whenever i tried to open IE, FF opens up i.e. instead of IE firefox opens everytime WTF!!! this is not fair this is simply cheating !! i am not satisfied by FF3.0

have you check which is your default browser?
I do not see this issue in my system
I have set my default browser as IE

Go to internet options in IE, under the tab programs there is an option as "internet explorer should check whether it is the default browser"

check it
and then restart IE when i check if IE is not the default browser it will give you options to do it

I recently downloaded firefox 3 and found it not as impressive as everyone was shouting. I find opera 9.5 version which was introduced recently far better than firefox, though!
