About LinkBacksI had to use a backup which was taken about 24 hours ago due to this hack whcih happened about 4 hours ago.
Unfortunately we have lost all the posts which were made during the last 24 hours.

This also means that I will have to spend another 4-5 hours doing all the customization again
Why would someone do this to this forum? we dont even bash any country here or even talk about politics.. and I am hoping that no one takes offence when I tell the truth about sify.
I will take backups every 6 hours from now on.
It's shocking!!
this is really surprising that some one is doing this
cant we have some kind of security which will stop from other ppl doing this again?

Yesterday, I had one of the 'free-est' days. I think I posted near about 55 posts. Quite a few of them were some tips to sort problems out.

Just who in the fu** is doing all this what is his IP address admin check in your server log files and do let us know!!
and one more thing where the hell is skap he is a security analyst expert!! so i think he will help this forum to increase security!

I dont know the origin but a proxy was used which is located in China.
We cannot find out where it came from. Who ever did this f up used a Chineese proxy.
I have checked the logs but there is nothing we can do about this. I have done a few things which will prevent this from happening again.

Make sure you call up your credit card and debit card provider coz if you dont its not covered under their insurance and you might end up paying a lot o money if some one uses it. When you do call them up to report this loss make sure you get a reference number from them and keep a note of it.
yaa already called up my bank to block my cards... but today in morning i have so many works to do.. that i even cant imagine.. need to go for FIR, then bank to get some money then traffic authority to apply for NOC and then office..That sucks man

Sorry to know this....these day these things are more needed than money....when someone loses his/her mobile he/she only thinks I dont want the mobile but someone please return my SIM card..isn't it!!!
