some 25 years ago, there used to be an annual flying competition (in Dec or Jan) of Radio Control & wire control planes & choppers of various sizes at Calcutta at the Biren Roy Aerodrome (the oldest pvt airstrip of India). quite a few of us friends used to travel some 4/5 KM to catch a glimpse.
don't know if it still continues.

Hey Chipped tail rotor should not be of that much problem (also depends on how much has it been chipped) but the main rotor should be free of any stuckups, check the gear and see the edges they should perfectly colide with the motor pinion if they mis then try using a nail filer to smoothen the edges a bit.Hopefully it should fix the problem.
    Take care

    Default Must go

Hi Guys, I’m leaving India next week and need to sell my helix. It’s a Hirobo Sceadu with OS 50 engine, Radio is JR PCM 9 X, there are some spares, tools and the original manuals. It hasn’t flown for two years so needs to be striped, cleaned and the drive belt should be replaced. The receiver and radio batteries need to be changed. I just want it to go to a good home and will let the whole lot go with a Real Flight simulator for Rs8000. My mobile is 9910709429 and I’m in Gurgaon.

Good, it is a global hobby and it is great thing to be a Radio Control Pilot...

A beginner need to start with RC heli initially and then planes...

This is a Big Hobby field. There are a lot of stuff... Many celebs, business men have this hobby....

I too have this hobby for the past one year after seeing one of TAMIL ACTOR AjithKumar, Who have this hobby and built a RCPA Fields which costs in crores

    Really, it is great...

Yes the camera attached to the RC planes and Helis are of different types, We call it as FPV, which is like a CCTV cam which can be used simply for the flying purpose.

And one more thing is AERIAL PHOTOGRAPHY is a fields of photography which are taken from RC planes and Helis for advertisement purpose etc....

Oh thanks for the answers. But i think its too expensive hobby though? How much a typical RC chopper will cost? I mean not too advanced. For example i used a RC car for my small cousin that was of 2.5k, and i heard about my another cousin having an helli(his father bought it from China for him)not quite sure if it had a control or not. But i heard that flew.

To Transmit the Pics, Audio and Video, You need to have the Audio/Video Transmitter in the Rc Heli(along with the High Resolution Cam) and the Receiver with you(along with high patch Antenna)... You can choose the frequency as 2.4 Ghz to transmit which is better...

    Default hi

hey members well i am from gurgaon very near to delhi i also have a house in hauz khas in delhi well i am beginner at rc playing and to honest i thought it was easy to fly and i bought a mirage 2000 as my first rc airplane but i cudnt even take it off the ground ..
so contacted the shops at secunderade jackshobbies from where i bought it and i decided to buy another airplane and bought a 3 channel art tech cessna as 4 ch was not available.. after my first flight there a pole on the left during take of and the plane hit it immediately after take off so i broke my wing and broke the shaft of the motor . i fixed the wing but i had to buy a brushless motor for the plane as the stock motor cant be used anymore.. but now i cant seem to be able to put the brushless motor on the plane and so i decided to get back to my mirage and today i went to the field and broke the fuselauge during takeoff even before it got in the air..
so i decided to learn rc flying and only buy another plane if i cud find someone who cud guide me..
well plzz tell me the place, time and day wheen i can meet u guys and learn from u. i hope u will teach me.
and i will fix my mirage and get both my planes and hopefully the admin can fix my brushless motor to the cessna and teach me to fly my mirage..
i have intintions to buy another plane only if someone can advice a gud plane and when we will meet u can guide.

I just checked the website and the prices are just too high... Ordering from Hongkong or Singapore based websites is cheaper by 50% and it only takes about 10-15 days for the product to arrive at your door step and I have never been asked to pay any customs duty... I assume there is none on individual items.

At rcskyhobby there is a very limited choice of products and absolutely nothing for advance level fliers. I couldnt find any 5 or 6ch helis there.
Products that normally sell for $69 on other sites are being listed at more then 3 times the price...
Why would anyone buy from rcskyhobby ?

Bring your prices down and I can give you business worth more then Rs50k every month out my my friend circle alone ... You must already know that those people who fly on a regular basis break them on a regular basis as well and that results in buying new ones regularly

Try building volumes rather then trying to get rich by selling one heli.. Its all about repeat business for rc helis and planes... they keep breaking all the time.
