Difference between stability and speed?
stability means a connection without lot many disconnections with some proper reasonable speed on which you can surf internet and can download files too... where speed means getting a very good speed which provides you very fast download rate and good surfing speed...
but it is observed that you face frequent disconnection on high speed if your line is not capable to handle that much...
and as you asked
so would like to add something here... that there is no provider which dont check MSR (Maximum Stable Rate) on line before providing you a fast connectionIf one ISP gives you speed, and another stability, who are you going to choose?
all providers have some scales on line which depends upon line condition to get the MSR on line...
and there is something known as stablisation period which you can call as testing stage.. where providers try to send high signal strength on line and count the number of diconnections.. and they provider the speed on line where you get minimum number of disconnection...
i think now you got an idea about stability and speed...

I prefer 'Stabilty' on the promised Speed(that is still a rare scenario yet)
I'll prefer speedy connection. Thats why I m sticked to MTNL. I didnt go for cable net.
how about both of them? ;-)
I need a stable always ON connection
Stability is whats important to mewhat use is speed when you cant get your connection to work when you need it the most.
Of course, stability.
I could even manage with 52 kb(its)ps line when there is stability. I have 2mb(its)ps line now, though.
