Default What moped do you drive?

I've seen that Indian cities are filled with people on mopeds. So chances are you're already using one. So what is it, what brand did you buy?

I havent seen a moped in years...

You are talking about India about 20 years ago... India doesnt move on mopeds any more..

You have probbably seen some video footage on bbc or somethig which would have been taken 20 years ago.

India has moved on.... and now moving at an even faster pace

The problem with media is they show only bad things about India and that makes people paranoid.

I remember once a person asked me whether Tigers lived in the vicinity where I lived in India. I was too astounded to make a reply.

Some one asked me whether cows still keep walking in the middle of the road.

After answering his question i asked if Mad cow disease still exist in UK and he kept quite after that

I just dint want to post in this thread seeing the topic... yes the media and nearly all channels (national geographic, discovery, etc) just portray india as a land of villages.... ok i don't say that its not a land of villages but the cities have become quite forward in everything... like the chinese guy in munna bhai mbbs, "i want the real india... hungry peopul.. poor peopul.." lol...
here at delhi there are so many honda civics now that i'l think twice before going for the car (even tho its on the top of my want to own list, hell i will be going for it anyways come to think of it ) nearly every road in dwarka has one parked somewhere.... even audis and bmws are damn common...

but i actually feel that the poor are getting poorer by the day here... just look at the inflation rates... these damned politicians are ruining are country like anything...

so buddy just please enlighten us from where u belong and please make ur comments and when u start living here.

There are far too many stereotypes in this world. It is hard to find out the truth about different countries without asking though because of channels like National Geographics and such.
