Thread: IndiaBroadBand.Net- Advantages & Disadvantages

Hello friends,

U can express your views about this forum on this thread... U can explain what real gains you have had from this site... U can also discuss about your negative experiences here... And if you have any suggestion u can raise them up here too... I'm sure Admin will listen...

I've a BSNL 500c+ plan... Initially I was facing few issues... So, I came to know about this forum... I would love to share my opinions with you...

Advantages

1. Suggestions from the users of this forum helped me to solve my frequent disconnection problem.

2. I got to know about some tweaks which I can do in my ADSL Modem. That certainly increased the speed of my downloads.

3. I wasn't able to figure out how should I check my usage. Cuz I didn't know anything about this portal ID to be collected from BSNL. The existing threads on this forum helped to know about it.

4. This forum has a huge bunch of Geeks who are ever ready to solve any tech related problems.

5. There are many users who keep this forum lively and interesting by introducing non-techie topics. We need few more.

6. This forum has 2 very active Admins/Moderators. They know their job very well. One with a third eye doesn't have any fixed schedule, and other is a nocturnal.

7. This forum gave me many nice friends... I'm glad to socialize with them..


Disadvantages

1. I'm worried about my usage limit... Still 10 days to go this month...I'm very near to trip it...

Suggestions

1. There can be a thread/section at Home Page... With a Title like "New users start here" and it should contain links to all the guides or important threads of this forum. This will surely help newbies & reduce redundancy of similar threads.

p.s.- Plz Plz give repo me if u liked this thread...

Well every1 has his own reasons for the adv. n disadv. ... U can write ur own if u like.. n thanx 4 the repo...

My main advantage has been that I have been able to generate some goodwill.

For me, the advantage of this forum would be the participation of Admin in almost every thread. I have been to some other forums, with kind of non-existence of admins.

Lol.. That must be a huge information to get it for the 1st time... U were lucky that someone was there to tell ya bout it... I dreaded the name of torrents b4 understanding the concept... I remember I downloaded one torrent file without a client... & thot it as a useless file & deleted it... I used kaaza, lime-wire or ares for long...

there are lot many advantages of this site which are really very long to pen down..
the only disadvantage i can see is... it's addective :32:

ya ya thats correct can not think of a single nite without coming here.. i am worried what will happen after marriage or during honeymoon

i will spend my whole honeymoon nite on laptop with indiabroadband.net and someone waiting on the other side of room.. LOL

Well, To be honest, I came here for my torrents problem, but, then later, couldn't just leave this forum.

Intially I joined this forum just to Time pass, as most of the sites are filtered in my office - (Sorry Admin for this statement) But now i feel lucky i found this one. I am now addicted to it. These days I have very busy due to my chandigarh Plans and i didn't logged in, but still 2-3 in last week I have travelled KMs to locate a cyber cafe jus to spend some time on India Broadband
