Whats your favorite type of music and why?

My favorite is bhangra, i can listen to bhangra all day long!

Only sometimes I like listening to qwaalis, jagjit singh and only a rare number of hindi film songs.

I like Lata's haunting melodies.

i like hip hop, ....into punk rock too..
but not heavy metal, heavy metal gives me a head ache.

I like the soft music a lot no matter what language(even though i don't understand the lyrics) I also listen to mild rock and soft metal

I love Punjabi Music. Manmohan Waris and Harbhajan Mann are my Fav Punjabi Singers, one of my all time fav song is "Manke" sung by Lehmber hussainpuriya (may be i have misspelled his name) and "Hichkiya" by Manmohan Waris

I really love Manmohan Wari's "Punjabi Virsa 2007" It's actually an Live Concert which happens every year in UK

Yes Manmohan Waris is very good, but Harbhajan Mann's songs now sound very similar and boring, before his songs were quite good.

I generally like all bhangra songs, as long as it sounds good (artists from India and UK), and some of the really old ones too like songs by Malkit Singh and i also like listening to boliyan.

There was a time when i liked Apache Indian too.

Ive bene to the punjabi virsa show at Wembley in London was great.
