    Default I. N. R. I.

The abbreviation I.N.R.I. is inscribed on all Christian crosses. What does it mean?

Jesus of Nazareth. King of Jews.
The words were "Iesvs Nazarenvs Rex Ivdaeorvm."
"I" instead of the "J", and "V" instead of "U"
    (Jesus Nazarenus Rex Judaeorum).

You know, you'll will find R.S.V.P on many Hindu Marriage Invitation Cards just above the names of the family members...like

    R.S.P.V
    Xyz
    Abc

Cant Understand why they are asking for a Reply.

R.S.V.P. is very important. This means that the sender is expecting your reply - an accept or a decline.

This informs the sender how many people will be attending the invitation and allow him/her to be prepared appropriately.

    Never ignore RSVP invitations.

And back to INRI. Please pardon me for this joke... someone told me once, it stands for

    I'll Never Return Idiots
