Thread: How to setup POP3 account on outlook express on Hathway broadband connection

I have 256 kbps broadband hathway connection. I have purchased a domain seolinkbuilding4u(dot)com and created an email account sales at seolinkbuilding4u(dot)comwith password xxxxx

now when i go to outlook express i am usually ablw to setup pop3 accounts through other broadband providers but hathway when i enter

incoming mail server : mail.seolinkbuilding4u dot com
outgoingmail server : mail.seolinkbuilding4u dot com

and usual procedure not setting up

does hathway have their own outgoingmail server ?

does anyone know the exact procedure to setup pop3 account on hathway connection ?

also i have purchased seolinkbuilding4u(dot)com cpanelx(dot)us and hosted with them but still cant access the hosting panel
seolinkbuilding4u(dot)com/cpanel

its been 3 days.....does it take time to setup hosting so long ?
they have given me a temporary ip address to access thye control panel

Please make sure you got your smtp and pop servers right. I use a hathway connection from Delhi and I dont find any restrictions to smtp and pop servers (defaults - 25/110 or 465/995 over SSL) to any mail provider as yet. And I tried telnet on the default smtp port 25 to mail.seolinkbuilding4u.com and it doesn't respond at all. POP on port 110 does however respond but I dont have the credentials to log on. I havent' actually tried from my hathway connection as yet since I am at work at the moment as I read your post (airtel dedicated connection). So please check with your domain servers and make sure you got the links right
