Thread: hathway broadband service and speed is pathetic in NOIDA ( NCR )

I have a 7GB, 512 KBPS package for last 7 in NOIDA, which I have renewed for another six months 7 KPBS pack as I could only use 2 GB and wanted to carry forward the balance 5 GB... no matter how hard I try I am unable to use my limits, the down speed is between 1-3 Kbps, on gud days it goes upto 4 - 5 KBPS...

vodaphone access is much faster for download which is just a 2G mobile phone service which i use on my nokia E 71.

I the past 3 months I have made more then 10 complaints to hathway but the problem is as it is.

reason given by engineers is standard, "some speed and cable problem in NOIDA & will be resolved in 2 - 3 days".. its over four months now

Hathway is totally useless, specially in noida. one can call their call center at 011 46085777 and enquire, they still do not have the solution for this NOIDA problem for last 4 - 5 months, though can't say the same about other locations.

Can anyone comment on the speed others are getting from hathway in noida.

pls suggest some better ISP with consistant service.

i am also using hathway internet for over 1 and a half year now.
previously the speed was good. for a 512 kbps plan they used to give about 45-50 kBps .
but for the last 304 months i am facing the same problem. 3-4 kBps speed.

The main problem is timing. Firstly the internet cable under SOME OCEAN got broken due to which many of ISP's all over the world were slow and when it got fixed , hathway started to install servers for more bandwidth which they are taking from airtel.
This is what i have been told for over 2 months now.....

My plan is getting over next month and i am planning to shift to BSNL 500 ComBo plan. any sugestions are welcome guyz...

Hathway broadband is pathetic everywhere in the country....they are notorius for worst internet connection ....everyone falls into their trap becoz they provide connection instantly without any documentation
