Rep Power: 12 | You have to use a security key wep or wpa. give more details of the PRONET wifi modem/router , supplied by Hathway. Specifications of ADSL2 Router :: ADSL products :: from Pronet :: Kunhar Peripherals Pvt Ltd Please post screen as Annexure of Device status as a jpg picture. For reference see 7a for wireless security. http://www.indiabroadband.net/bsnl-b...reference.html (UTSTAR WA3002-G4 quick reference) Last edited by essbebe; 09-06-09 at 09:05 PM. |

Rep Power: 12 | You have to use a security key . WPA Do you find any other wifi network ( either secured or unsecured ) in your "Show available wireless network "Page ? For reference use this site. Chennai Telephones- Changing password in DataOne Pre-configured modem If you post screenshot of the Device status of your PRONET modem equivalent model can be tried with similar settings page. SSID : "PRONET"changing it will not make any difference to security. it is only a name for ref. Mine is KK |

I am having config.bin of working configuration but I am not able to access router using the IP. It displays wireless connection WPA protected. And as soon as I try to connect it, it refuses the connection. What I need to do in order to get it back? Thanks. |

Rep Power: 12 | For this modem/router no data available with me. post screen shot of device status. or confirm it is similar to wa 3002-g4 ( see screen shots in earlier link given by me ) any problem you have to recheck wireless settings in modem. or reset the router and start afresh. Presume , now you connect LAN1 to computer ( laptop ) to surf. Last edited by essbebe; 09-09-09 at 09:15 PM. |

Rep Power: 1 | Hi, As I am not able to access 192.168.1.1, I am not able to take screenshot of status. What I need to do is to restore the router to factory settings. I tried to reset the router by pressing black button that is available on the back side of router but it is not resetting the router as I checked it by resetting my router and refreshed the available wireless networks list, it gives me still WPA protected network list. I even removed my previous network configuration from my os and tried to re-load them but I am not able to do so. Please help me. I got stuck at this point. Thanks once again. |

Rep Power: 12 | Warning If you have an installation CD or manual try the following. No details available in the web. Check there is a reset button or access hole in the rear of the Pronet router. press it for 20 or 30 seconds with power on. All settings will be lost. Revert to factory settings. Then try to access the modem pages. Without device status screen shot , no further suggestions can be made. . |
