Hathway introduce the new bullet-fast package.3 months rental 1686/-, 3 GB downloadlimit(day time usage) , night 11pm to 9am UNLIMITED.

Hey Shekhar, are you the same sales executive of hathway who made me signup for the 6 months pre-paid plan at Ulsoor area promising that, I will be getting the connection shifted anywhere in Ulsoor area ? If so , please PM me. You guys can't shift the connection from Market Road to Anniah Reddy Road which is less than 500 mts away. You did an excellent job with selling the product, but failed in keeping the promise.

If you are not working for Hathway, I am sorry for the flaming. I am frustrated with Hathway's service, taking back my modem before the period ends and never giving the promised refund even after 2 months.

Could you manage to get the money refunded?Similar problem is what I face now with Hathway Bangalore where they promised me to transfer the connection (512 kbps Blast connection for 6 months -7GB traffic,night unlimited,for Rs.3000 plus taxes~ Rs.3934/-)upon request from AECS Layout to Koramangala, opp. to Forum Mall. Under their assurance , I went ahead with taking the connection, as I knew at the time of new connection application itself that I will be moving out pretty soon. Unfortunately I could use only 2 weeks out of 6 months and they are not refunding the amount having cleverly taken back the modem already (very promptly, again promising to process the refund upon collecting back the modem). The money involved in my case is close to Rs.4000 including taxes. As it was a 6 months package, they had waived off modem rental and deposit. So theoretically they say they are liable to pay me back nothing!But I had gone for this connection only as per one Mr.R*jesh's (AECS Layout Hathway office)advice. (He is not the one to be blaimed as he is apparently trained by the marketing team to sell the schemes by giving false promises to any extent).Even his team lead Srikan*h was of no help to me asking me for time.
The customer care executive had also assured me that they will do the transfer for free in case they have coverage or else will charge Rs.500. Later after negotiation, they had even agreed to waive off that amount. Now leave alone the 500 bucks, the whole 4000 is locked up with them and I feel like gotten robbed in the broad day light!
Having done so many follow ups with them ranging from customer care to Accounts department to Billing, there has been no resolution as yet and I don't have any faith in them either. People like Kh*zer Khan,Mr.Pan*ala Srinivas et al.of Bangalore Hathway Accounts department are the ones I've been following up with,to no avail. Everyone keeps asking me for more time forever and never calls back.In other words, another Big time swindling by Rahan Raheja's company.

The package was Hathway 512 kbps Blast Xtra for 6 months 7GB limit night unlimited. So better beware of Pre-paid schemes. Despite having returned the modem on 19/12/2007, still my usage page shows traffic of 32-35 MB everyday...! Now how on earth is that possible?!

I would not like to go up with something which does not have unlimited usages as i had used limited plans and i have payed huge bills around 10,000 per month. So i would not like to get on with same thing again,

Beware while going for any pre-paid connection from Hathway as they won't refund you the money paid in case you require a transfer of a connection and if it is found infeasible in the new location.Especially for the schemes for 6 months where they do not charge you modem rental and deposit in the first place. This makes it easy for them to decline any refund request pointing that they do not have any liability.However,this is not conveyed to the customer when he/she applies for a new connection. In my case they had assured me (verbally) that they will charge Rs.500/- in case of a transfer to a location with no existing coverage against drawing the cable etc.and otherwise the transfer will not incur any charge to any location with existing coverage. But they just did not stick to their words when the time came. there are no accountable persons in their Accounts/Finance department and they will just take you for a ride it comes to refunding. They will shamelessly give you numbers of the higher officials who'll in turn re-direct you to some other dummies. So getting the thing done is next to impossible.

Man, i guesss im in safe hands, i opted Airtel first but i felt like being burdened with hidden charger so then decided to step down towards BSNL tho the service is not that blazin good but fine enough to download... I hope they fix that Egypt thingy soon enough.

They denied the refund after 'speaking' to higher officials. So the moral of the story is, forget your pre-paid amount if you want to take a chance going for these connections.They did not even send me a hard copy invoice in spite of repeated request over phone.However they sent me the pdf over mail.
Height of disappointment!

Hathway is worst I had used the same plan for past six months and I used to get just 15KBps in the free period wtf.I switched to airtel bb and I am very happy with it.
