Thread: Wifi router - limiting NUMBER of connections

Hi!

I have a slightly weird query and please forgive me for the same

I have a Belkin wireless router and would like to limit the number of connections to 2. I would like to set this without any IP restrictions. 2 people should be able to connect (provided they furnish the right pin). Not more than two connections should be able to connect at a time. Please help. Thanks in advance.

same TWO persons( systems) entered.or
any two persons at any time?

MAC address of the system/s can be entered in WIFI router.
( called "white list ")
Security key for the wifi connection should be provided. and given to two persons
Then change the key and give to another set of persons etc. etc .

Any two persons. Max connections at any time to be limited to two people even if four people are trying to access with the right pin. This ensures that even if people share their pins, not more than two people can connect at a time.

Am aware of this. But this can be bypassed by changing the mac thru windows. So even if all four have the same mac, system will allow them to log in.

say 10 or 20 or 100.( cybher cafe ???)

Restrict the systems in your office/shop/residence/establishment/cybher cafe:
Desktop or laptop with wifi facility to two. !!!
Other systems will not have Internet access either in lan mode or wifi mode !
