Thread: Help about hathway cable broadband mumbai

HELLO hi all i am nazim from mumbai [Govandi] i have taken a plan of 1MBPS unlimted download for sum of rs710 and i took plan for 3 months so i get some discount anyway i am getting download speed as 100 to 125kbps its almost good but uploading speed is very very low 20 to 30kbps anyone here who can help me from getting out of this prb

If Hathway has provided a cable modem give the details.
After three months change to another ISP !

@asif the hathway guy must be cheating you theres no such plan at 710 bucks 1mbps u/l is at 1024 rs

i will change it after my 3months getting over thanks for ur advice and bro they have given me internet by wire not trough modem dear now else is thier to do dear

dear it was newly upgrade plan i have checked pamphlet the benifits i got by getting 3month together is i have freely instal this internet previsously i was using Relinace broadband Wimax its really suckks now i have taken it reliance was better then hathway in speed but most time reliance get off

You have to contact Hathway CC to increase your upload speed !
As user you cannot make any tweaks in your Internet connection.
Anyway try this:
Download tcp/ip optimizer from speedguide.net.
Select optimal values.
Recheck
Feedback.

thanks for giving such fast reply i have downloaded that tcp optimizer but not getting u what to do in that means i have to change some setting of something plz if u able then pm me ur yahoo or live id thanks or tell me here what kind of setting i have to do in that

Check your speed here twice and give the results.

Then
IN Optimizer select Optimal values.
recheck speed.
give results.
give the link omitting only http://www

Hathway cable connection USER has NO control., as mentioned earlier.

dont expect hathways u/l speed to increase beyond 150 kbps even i got u/l speed between 120-150 kbps on a 1mbps plan

u r lucky boss yaar i want my speed as 100 to 120 which i get downloading speed thats is enough for me and thanks tguys for helping me now i am getting 50kbps speed i have complaint to head office

u must be mistaken i used to get 100-120 kilo bits per second not kilo bytes per second
