I have been using hathway and having changed few plans too.I had first IQARA which changed to hathway night unlimited,1.5 gb usage and now 100 kbps unlimted is my current plan.I took hathway and it was fine.I had it for an year.It ran good till a month back.After i made my plan as 100 kbps unlimted,i started having problems.
At sometimes the net would work,sometimes not.It went on its way.Sometimes partially works or 2-3 sites open and again no bytes received/sent.You run network diagnostic test,u get host not reachable,unable to contact gateway,etc and sometimes everything enabled and next moment nothing reachable.I contacted there Technical no. 0265 2320218/2356468.I contacted there office 4-5 times a day.The pity is sometimes u wont get to talk as there phone is rarely not busy.I then gave them profanities but they silently listened as a disciple listening to his Guru.
They told me that LAN card should be got checked.I told them its allright with LAN card.They told me to once again disconnect the wire and replugin and then call.But next time no one answers.They gave me excuses like our man are eating and will be there in an hour,or till today evening it would be done,etc.Everytime i called,they asssured me.I even told them that i would disconnect my connection and take the refund but as they had turned to deaf ear.
I called my hathway dealer and gave him some profanities an then he came on track.He told that he would now get it done.A man came that evening and couldnt find any fault anywhere,nor my side nor his side.Another guy came next day and also he was blank.Finally he did changes in IP and DNS and then my problem was solved.
All this took a month after i started complaining regularly. I had good faith in hathway as i thought it has good cutomer care and technical care.But that fails and leaves me thinking them as all usual careless ISP's....![]()
