Thread: Speed Problem - opinion needed.

Hello,

I am using Hathway Broadband for the last 15 days. I have the 128kbps unlimited plan.

I am getting a consistent speed of 20 - 24 kbps for downloads from various sources.

I wanted to know if this is a good speed or i should be getting more.So if needed i can call them up and let them know ...

I had 256 kbps of hathway an i used to get abt 22-25kbps.You at 128 are getting this.So its good speed.You are almost having double speed...luky hathway customer!

I think the speed is fair enough.............coz in u shud get a maximum of 18-20 in 128kbps..........23-25 in 256kbps................arnd 45-60` in 512 kbps

Expected in the sense means that has to be the minimum speed, which I usually get but in Torrents not in the browser, usually Downloading Movies and Games help me.
In Browsers when i download I hardly get 30kbps I have some problem with all of the Browsers.....I used Firefox, IE 7, Opera.......still........
