Thread: Hathway and wifi

Hi,
I have a hathway broadband connection and recently i got a Netgear WGR612 wireless router.
Everything is working perfect and even i am able to use wifi on my laptop.
The only problem is i have to turn on the pc and login to the hathway internet before using the wifi on the laptop.If i turn off my pc then i cannot use the internet on my laptop(through wifi).

Moreover:
When i configured the netgear router then there was an option that
"Does your internet connection needs to login before using ?"
When i clicked on "NO" and configured then i the internet was working perfectly but as soon as i clicked on "YES" and configured it again the internet stopeed working.
And again it works when i configure it for "NO".


Well here is a way i thought please tell me if it would work.
I will install the login software on my laptop and get the signals from router wirelessly on my laptop and use it. will it work ?(in this processs the PC remains shut down)

I am having a wifi router somedays it got some kind of username password error so it stopped working on my pc and tab but now it's working on tab but not on pc any suggestion on this condition
