Default Hathway to Launch DOCSIS 3.0 Network

Hathway broadband services will now be he first to launch DOCSIS 3.0, which will mean that broadband speeds can be provided of up to 300mbps. A move like will immensely help Hathway a lot in expansion and popularity. At the moment Hathway provides their services in 140 cities and towns which includes cable services as well as broadband services.

Now for those who not know about the DOCSIS 3.0 feature, here is some information for you to know:

Full band capture digital tuning which allows fast downstream spectrum which means you get access to any channel from anywhere
Dual band WiFi which provides excellent WiFi services throughout the home
For great users experience two band streams work simultaneously
1 GHz processor to improve CPU speed

Hathway is a service provider which provides some very good tariff plans, but it is only valid in select cities, many are still in hope that they would expand their services across India.

I think that statement of Hathway being the first to introduce DOCSIS 3.0 is simply not true. Asianet Broadband over here has been offering the same from 2013.

Asianet in India is owned by Hathway so may be they interpret Asianet's DOCSIS 3.0 introduction as their own may be? who knows

To be honest I am not 100% sure. I cant find any info on this either. I some how always believed that hathway group bought over Asianet long ago. I might be wrong on this... I am still looking.

I checked on Wikipedia and found that hathway group bought Asianet. I dont understand why they would compete with each other when the parent company is the same.

There's some misinformation in the first post.

The wifi signal has nothing to do with DOCSIS 3.0. Also, the processor speed has nothing to do with DOCSIS 3.0.

DOCSIS 3.0 mainly brings in more channel bonding, which can mean more speed over the same cable. But for the record, I had a DOCSIS 2.0 modem that did 25Mb/5Mb, so 3.0 is overkill right now since most of the country doesn't see speeds like this.
