    Thumbs down Hathway sucks !! as usual !!

    I am having this connection renewal problem with these guys for the past 20 days. I really don't know what is happening around with their renewal application, they always say they will do it tomorrow again tomorrow again tomorrow..."Tomorrow never dies" for them...

    I have already made more than 50 calls to their customer support department and renewal department and no response from them other than the same thing. I am fed up to the core...I am planning to raise a case with the consumer court on these folks, but again where the heck is the time for all this...

    I have been using Sify and Tata Indicom earlier, one good factor in them atleast I will reach them in 5th or the 6th call...These people, you got to keep redialling till your fingers pain just to hear "it will be done only tomorrow"...

    They promise to have a 24*7 customer service, but no...you cannot reach them after even 7:00 PM. I kind of feel this is the worst level of customer service one could get...

    I don't really know, even after getting the payment before 20 days, they still manage to tell the same old answer..."Will be done tomorrow.."

    I lost my temper and shouted at them couple of times !! alas !! its like shouting in a deaf ears !!

    Please people, don't go for hathway. If you still want to go, ask them to set up your modem, cables and systems 100% safe, because once you get a fault its equivalent to losing the entire connection..

    HATHWAY SUCKSS !!!!

    agreed...hathway has provided much more connections that what bandwith it has...it has a mjor shortage problem of bandwith...some of the gaming servers hosted on hathway went so **** , started giving 500+ms lag and all...not good to have hathway now...

    Guys,

    I visited them in person in their Eldams road office yesterday, they were trying to convince me saying the connection will be up and running today evening. I told them clearly - enough of these promises and asked them to terminate the connection, as I got connection from some other service provider.

    I had also taken a hard copy of the email I had sent them regarding disconnection, it was only after this many days, they searched my email on subject line from their heap of emails and responded me

    If for each and everything, we have to visit their office in person with hard copy of the email then what the heck is the purpose of emails??? sounds irritating and funny too....

    Finally, the representative came back out saying, they can't refund me the money...I had to have a argument with her to make here move the things to the accounts department..Then again she came back saying, their server is down so they can't check my usage and they will give me a call back....

    By now I was totally irritated, out of energy and exhausted...I had to come back hearing to their helpless promise again...I think, I will have to go one more time again for this shitty business !!

    Ir-responsible morons everywhere in Hathway!! I never thought, customer response and service would be so worst in any customer facing organization !! Hell with hathway !!

    And, this is going to continue!! Idiots !! I have never felt so irritated in my life, the very word "hathway" itself cause so much of disturbance in me...

    Hearing your horror story I feel sify isint doing all that bad with me.. after all I am typing this message using my sify connection.

    Which isp are you using now?

    I am using Tata Indicom right now...

    I started with Sify, then I moved to Tata Indicom and then to Hathway and now back again to Tata Indicom...

    I have a feeling, Tata's were doing better when compared to the other folks...atleast responsive customer care...

    Neo, Airtel is doing their level best. Since you were not with Airtel, you didn't get chances to know about their customer support. They're good.

    Hathway sucks ball. My online mate use to worry to me daily telling this. I really wonder how these guys aren't serious with biz

    Yes Pal !! Before Hathway I was trying to get Airtel..But unfortunately, Airtel did not have service in my area

    So I had to go for Hathway..!!

    And, one more update on my issue with Hathway, I called up(9:45 AM IST) the support folks again, and ended up no where...They said no technical person or accounts people here and they will call me after they come to work..

    I think, mostly they will make me go to their office again

    Here again back with latest updates on my issue...

    I went back to their office in eldams road on 31-December-2007(fortunately took a off on that day), I took the modem with me because, I expected them tell that after they take the modem they will intimate me in so and so days...I surrendered the modem, and lady told that she has sent an email to Mumbai folks(as they are the ones who approve refunds).

    And, they would get back to me in 3 weeks time...I really don't know what should be done with these guys...
