I applied for a Hathway broadband connection 10 days back and am yet to get the modem.

The sales person told me that the connection will be activated in 5 to 6 days after I gave him the check. When even after 6 days no cabling was done, I contacted the Hathway people who gave me Kothrud contact number who gave me another contact number who then gave me another contact number. The cabling guy told me that my turn will come soon as there is a already existing list of connections yet to be done. Nothing happened. Next day, I called the Hathway head-office and they again tried to get away giving me some caontact number. But I refused to call anybody and asked them to tell me the status directly. The person assured me that the connection will be started on next day - Saturday.

When nothing happened till Monday, I again called their office and same story repeated. I hold on to get the status and the lady promised me that the cabling will be done by today evengin. It was done but no modem was supplied as the cable guy told it will be done by somebody else tomorrow.

Today nobody has turned yet, and thier office is also not yet able to get the status regarding when I will get the modem and when it will be activated......

This is very bad service I have experienced frm Hathway and would not recommend it to anybody especially when and other good players are like BSNL, Airtel are available. For me none of these options are available in Kothrud area.

Also, technically too Hathway laid a big thick ~12mm cable... I don't understand why these people require such a huge cable when BSNL and Airtel can give same signal quality, speed on much thiner cable.

They have big way to improve...
