    Default hathway 256kbps unlimited sux

    I use 256kbps unlimited plan.But,when i make speed test im getting download abt 32kbps and upload about 68.when i call call the customer care executive they say that they will send an engineer since 2 months but till now he is not yet here,i approached his office and told about the speed issue he said me that your area got repaired but there is no change in my net speed.when i again approached to his office he says that he will send an engineer,but till now he is not here.but some how i got speed for 10 days so i thought that the speed was good and paid the bill.after the payment of bill within the next few hours my net again got the same old speed it sux now,i called the customer care executive approached his office but no use.
    hathway sux and his custome rcare also sux
    never trust hathway he is cheater and lier,he betrays his customers.

    This is the problem almost with all players. If you have the option, you should switch to BSNL.

    he must be talking abt kBps(Kilo Bytes Per Sec), I dunno why people dont understand d diff between kbps & kBps.
    I hope its 32 kBps, if its kbps then its miserable.

    Default HATHWAY is no better than a Scoundrel

    Hathway broadband service is the worst broadband one can ever imagine. I took a 2 month 2 GB free connection, it was prepaid. I dont get any network even 10% of the day. Since last 15 days I've been calling the helpdesk people at least thrice a day, everyday they utter the same thing - it will be fixed within next 12 hours. These 12 hours are never coming. I'VE PAID MONEY AND I'M NOT GETTING ANY NETWORK. Forget about the speed.

    Even the manager was so scoundrel that when I sent an email to him describing the situation, he promised that he'll fix this within one day. He never did that. If I would have enough time, I would sue them under consumer protection act. I've removed my network and going for Airtel from the next month.

    Just avoid HATHWAY connection

    I suffered the same , i'm on a similar plan too.

    Installation took 20 days and 50 phone calls against the promised 4 days.
    No-signal and frequent disconnection took 15 days against the promised 2 days.

    And issues like slow speed, unaccounted downloads, pathetic customer care and poor tech support are forever.

    The speed that they mention is the maximum that your connection will be let to have.The speed that you actually get goes on decreasing as the number of prople using that ISP in your area increases...

    I heard that hathway net officials are very careless. My friend has not been paying his bill since 3 months and he is using it even now.

    If its any other net,they would has disconnected it.:16:
