    Question Stupidity

    I am a hathway customer for the last two years in chennai.The staff or managers in chennai doesnt know what is CUSTOMER.They treat customers as fools.without informing the customer the disconnect the cable saying that ur limit is over.Once u call them it takes minimum 10 to 15 minutes for somebody to attend the call.I have made the payment yesterday evening and they confirmed me that my account will be activated within 1 hour.nothing happened.i called ur 10 times,no response.Today morning also i called up.they confirmed that it will be activated before 10 am.Nothing happened till 12 noon.I asked the person who collected the money to reimbuse me and i dont want hathway connection.NO RESPONSE.This is not the first time.This happend almost more than 5 times.What hathway people think of themselves.Customers r fools.If u continue like this ,thats all . the end of hathway is very near

    it is very sad that you have to go through all this

    Don't you have any other ISP in your area which you can move to?

    i dont have BSNL land line.is it possible to get BSNL internet without landline

    BSNL BB is provided by a fixed telephone landline. You can apply for a landline + BB together. And if you subscribe to any of the following packages, landline rent is waived off:

    1. UL 750+
    2. UL 1350+

    I certainly beg to differ.

    1. BSNL does not disconnect unless the bill is not paid even after 15 days of last due date. This is very much stated. I have been disconnected only once in my tenure with BSNL for the past 15 years but was restored back within a day or two. BSNL disconnects only outgoing calls initially. BB is disconnected after complete termination of services.
    2. I have been able to get customer support within 2-5 minutes everytime. The trick here is to select the local language option instead of English.
    3. BSNL billing is transparent. They have the usage portal where one can clearly track how much one is using the bandwidth.

    On the point that I agree is that BSNL CC executives are not always able to help. But I have found the Pune guys to be quite competent technically. Of course the situation may not be the same elsewhere.

    same is there with sify too... its takes about 15 mins to get connected to any stupid advisor... and apart from that if you talk to them they talk about moon, pluto, jupiter..
