I strongly recommend that no one go in for a Hathway connection. In our area in Mumbai, we do not have a choice & we have to opt for Hathway if we want a cable connection. Their connectivity is the worst I have ever seen. Down time is almost a daily occurence when they are charging us for 24 Hour OnLine connectivity. Their technical support & service is even worse. Getting through to their ’’So Called’’ 24 hour help line is a nightmare. Even after you get through, you are inevitably put on hold for 15-20 minutes. I have tried conveying our woes to senior level managers & technicians in their organization but nothing has been done about anything. Now, they just conveniently are’nt in the office or busy in a meeting when we call.
The minute an alternative is available, I will switch over. Don’t waste your money, time & energy on a Hathway connection. You will regret it !

I have a very bad experience of hathaway broadband. I had purchased 1200/- 512 kbps (might have changed now)unlimited plan. More than using the net i was calling customer care to no avail, Even smallest of problems took weeks to rectify.
The promised to return the deposit for the modem, but till now nobody has turned up, neither called for that refund.
I myself have decided to switch to some wi-max connection now.

Use it only if u like talking to customer care a lot.
