You should switch to BSNL. Hathway sucks anyway.

Visit BSNL website for their plans and tariffs.

64kbps means at max you will get 8kbps transfer rate which is already very slow speed plan, hathway is offering 256kbps UL plan for Rs. 1750 and they are offering 2 other plans which and not unlimited but providing speed upto 1Mbps
i think best one is 256UL
rest depends upon your usage and need

I guess you should switch to Airtel if possible...there 128 kbps UL for 729 is excellent with great support...

Hathway's new offering is a 1 Mbps plan with a validity of 4 months or a download limit of 4 GB (whatever comes first)....

My opinion: This is yet another dirty trick. Get the customer to commit for a longer duration proudly saying that it is as cheap as 250 rs. per month.... in those 4 months there is no guarantee that u will get even half of the promised speed and the prolonged "downtimes for maintainence"
