Thread: nightmare with Hathway internet

I subscribed to Hathway Broadband Internet connection about 4 months back for use in HSR layout, bangalore. From the very first day the connection has been giving trouble. Over last 4 months the up-time had been just about 15%. It works only during night time. During day-time it hardly works when you need it most.

My experience with the service and support can set a new record. I have to call the company about 10 times in a day to enquire as to when will the connection be made up so that I can start doing my work. The stock reply at all the time is that their service personnel are on the job and will get back to me. Out of 20 times they get back only once.

Then you can not contact to any of the senior persons in the company as they are not willing to give telephone number of anyone in their organisation.

Overall the company is much worse than many erstwhile monoply organisations. In fact PSUs are providing much better services these days than Hahway.

I will not recommend Hathway connection to anybody even if it is offered free.

i have no idea abt the service in HSR layout. But other wise in Kormangala and in JP nagar i have used the same and its fine most of the time... and when the net is down due to any issue they let me know whenever i had called them..... all this was till march 2006 when i shifted to airtel due to company policies..

so it would be better if u asked someone in the neighbour hood first who uses the hathway connection abt any problems they facing now and then decide on it....
