    Lightbulb Obesity - Symptom, Causes and Test

    Obesity is a term used to describe body weight that is much greater than what is considered healthy. There are many ways to determine if a person is obese, but experts believe that a person's body mass index (BMI) is the most accurate measurement of body fat for children and adults.

    * Normal weight = 18.5-24.9 (BMI)
    * Adults with a BMI between 25 and 29.9 are considered overweight.
    There are exceptions. For example, an athlete may have a higher BMI
    but not be overweight.
    * Adults with a BMI greater than 30 are considered obese.

    U people can calculate ur BMI here and if u want, u can share ur results with us...

    I'll do it 1st... My BMI is 25.2... I need to workout a bit...

    P.S.- I presume everyone know about the causes of obesity... I leave that topic to be discussed by all of us here...

    Mine is 24.6, seems like im pushing it a bit!

    There are many causes of obesity lie you said Mad, but many people think its just because of eating, there are in fact many issues which are beyond eating which cause obesity. One of the two main health problems which cause obesity are thyroid problem and also depression. Not many people think that they may have this problem, but i strongly recommend that you get your self checked out if you are obese, as there may be some health issues!

    Other factors of weight gain are things like over sleeping, too much drinking and so on!

    Make sure to do some kind of exercise at least 3-4 times a week!
