@ tooth fairy - whats the best way to have your teeth sparking sparkling white, mine are white, but i have seen some people (also on tv), whos teeth are proper white and shiney!

Also i have asked this before, but again is it worth getting your teeth straightened out!

I have read somewhere that the tooth of the people in toothpaste ads are made purposefully yellow. Then lights of appropriate combination are used such that the teeth is sparkled as white.

Maybe thats why however we brush we are not able to sparkle our teeth like those.

The same is being employed for detergent powder ads too.

I am unsure where i had read these facts, but i think it was featured on some flight magazine.

hmm, ok well what about those people who in real life have sparkling white teeth, i heard something about using some kind of soda (i think it was bicarbonate) on teeth, which makes them sparkle, but never used it in case i damage my teeth!

bicarbonates will probably dissolve/correde the teeth :w00t:

well.. 1st let me clear u.. whiteness is different among different ppl..

the basic tinge also depends on underlying dentine .. if the enamel layer is thin.. naturally the teeth gonna appear.. yellowish..

what all here mad ppl are telling abt soda.. :lol: are partially correct.. but like its not exactly the same thing.. like its something like sodium bicarbonate or sodium perborate with hydrogen peroxide..(in exact proper ratio, and chemically balanced!!)

again .. i want to clear few more things.. the method of whitening teeth is called BLEACHING. there are different methods and approaches.. according to the cause n condition.. u cannot straight away do al this things at home.. putting lime and soda n oil and what not.. as above ppl commented..

further.. in add n serials.. ppl have nice teeth. partially lighting may be adjunct.. but like scaling n bleaching have no alternative..

atlast if the teeth are out of question like scaling n different bleaching doesnt apply.. than there are other ways.. its called VINEERING... its ideally best way.. u can get the perfect shape of teeth tht suit your facial profile.. the exact lusture n shine .. as everlasting.. and long standing..

but again its costly provedure, involves loss of slight amt of tooth structue.. but i feel worth while.

@preeti... lady.. your teeth can be straightened.. depending on their condition and age.. remember i told u the issue regarding tht before also..

Its not legal to publish porn content on internet...
The copy I had did not contain any pictures... but only sketches... and there was certainly not any porn stories in there... Its a good informatory product!

but it was surely protected by copyright...

I did not imply KS was porn. It need not be porn but still be banned right?

I don't think copyright applies to KS now. It probabaly passed the
statute of limitations long time back.

About the teeth. I think it can be white, but not sparkling or shiny.

and by camera trick I mean they punch up the saturation and
lighten the teeth in post production for ads.

I don't think there is anything with discussion of KS, along as it relavant to Topic

i think many people confuse with KS from different authors. the original VATSYAYANA one doesnt contain any pics. it only contains some sketches. the original book was in hindi, but it has been translated in english by many. i have one pdf english copy which is free from any pic/sketch

Take vitamins A, C, and D for general tooth health.
