    Exercise your Eyes

As you work for long hours in front of monitors, do this exercise.
First, blink your eyes several times. Then While you keep your eyes closed, roll your eyeballs both clockwise and anticlockwise and take a deep breath. Gradually open your eyes while releasing your breath. This exercise lasts for a minute and you can repeat it three times before getting back to work." It serves as a good workout for the eyes.

Detecting cancer / malignancy in primary stage.

Cancer is a type of disease which can occur to ANY part of the body except hair & Nail.

Easy way to detect it is, while bathing, when you apply soap try to apply it to every portion of the body so you will know if there is a lump or extra growth in any area. Once if you find any lump keep a watch on it for a week if it is growing then its not a good sign and consult your doctor immediately , if it stays as it is then also consult a doctor, if it subsides then you are out of danger.

They are pretty much interrelated but cannot say as they are same.

The beginning stage will be tumor and later when it is matured and cancer cells are found prominently, then it can be named as cancer. How ever the tumor may be of many reasons and may not lead to cancer but there is a high risk that it can lead to cancer.

Most of the time tumors occur only to muscle tissue, fat tissue or generally you can say, tumors will occur in soft parts. Where as cancer can occur even to bones also.

    Summer Care

In summer there will be a lot of water loss from the body by many means, the best way to protect yourself from dehydrating is drink a small tea cup of water every half an hour, doing like this the water you consume will be sent out by body by sweat, and the water level in your body remains normal.

Drinking a cup of water helps in another way too. you will not be needing the bathroom frequently as if you had consumed a glass of water at a time.

    Reduce Stress
Easier said than done, stress busters come in many forms. Some techniques recommended by experts are to think positive thoughts. Spend 30 minutes a day doing something you like. (i.e.,Soak in a hot tub; walk on the beach or in a park; read a good book; visit a friend; play with your dog; listen to soothing music; watch a funny movie. Get a massage, a facial or a haircut. Meditate. Count to ten before losing your temper or getting aggravated. Avoid difficult people when possible. Thought for the day: When seeing red, think pink clouds….then float on them.

    Cut Fat

Avoid the obvious such as fried foods, burgers and other fatty meats (i.e. pork, bacon, ham, salami, ribs and sausage). Dairy products such as cheese, cottage cheese, milk and cream should be eaten in low fat versions. Nuts and sandwich meats, mayonnaise, margarine, butter and sauces should be eaten in limited amounts. Most are available in lower fat versions such as substitute butter, fat free cheeses and mayonnaise

Cause and Effect of Sleep Deprivation

Approximately daily we require 7 to 8 hours of sleep. But when we do not have quality sleep for a long period, it can cause sleep deprivation. Research shows that the people without sleep for 17 to 19 hours are worse than people who were drunk.

    Ways ensure proper sleep?

    * Must have regular sleep pattern i.e. sleep and wake up at the same time every day
    * Your bedroom is helpful in cutting off the noise and light while sleeping in order to ensure proper sleep.
    * Avoid drinking caffeinated drinks, soft drinks or eating just before bedtime
    * Keep the temperature of your bedroom favorable for sleeping i.e. not too warm or cool

    Physiological Effects:

*Sleep deprivation can cause severe health problems. When people do not sleep properly
for several months, they can develop diabetes type
    * Many studies have even linked lack of sleep to obesity. Other health consequences of
sleep deprivation are depression, heart problems, high blood pressure etc.
