    hey thx for your responses.

Some other useful eye care tips for you ........

    1) Make a conscious effort to blink more frequently.
    2) If necessary, use eye drops 3 to 4 times a day to lubricate the eye; however, it is best to consult your ophthalmologist before putting any medicine on the eye.
    3) Eat lots of spinach, leeks, blueberries (and fish) because all contain properties known to keep eyes healthy.

Hey thx for your tips ...... one mare eye care tips is:

Get a good night sleep to avoid sore and puffy eyes. Tired eyes can be rejuvenated by placing slices of cucumber or cold tea bags over the eye area for 10 minutes, providing a refreshing pick-me up.

I am a great fan of using cucumber on my eyes at the end of a tiring day.

I also have an eye cooler. You just leaqve it in the fridge and use it to cool your eyes down. It works just like cucmber, but with less mess and food waste!

I know about this cucumber idea but never tried it, most of the times i prefer cold water to chill, other friend of mine likes to use eye cool drops which i never tried as i am just a bit affraid of doing any experiment with my eyes.

I was reading an article yesterday about CVS / Computer Vision Syndrome which is something that you get from looking at a computer screen for a long time.

With this syndrome you get blurred vision and itchy, dry eyes. The solution to it was simple; Just let your eyes wander from time to time and let them focus on something else for a short period of time.

With regards to number three... Does that also include monitor of laptops and PCs? Because I'm always in front of the tv or the computer's screen.

    3. Keep away from lamps that produce heat.
    Lamp and monitors are different.

If its a TFT Monitor then its not harmful to eyes, and while watching TV always maintain a good distance dont watch it from too close and always watch TV in a well lit room.

When watching tv, it is said that measure the width of th TV and multiply it to 5 and that should be your distance when watching that tv.

Wash your face before sleeping, and ensure that there is no make-up on your face before you sleep, because, make-up creams may spoil your face as it will be there for the whole night. Splash the eyes with a weak n very liter tea solution, thoroughly strained and cooled for 2 to 3 minutes. While working for long hours, look at distant objects either in your office or outside. Looking at a distant object and then returning to your task helps your eyes focus better.

yes it will seriously damage your ears...

i read some way back in newspaper that 70 minutes of continuous music can be very severe to ears...

i myself have a wrong habit of listening to hard rock at full volume(those stupid electric guitars make me crazy) on headphones.

dont do it.. its a very bad habit. give your ears break after every 15 minutes of music(thats what i do now).. listen to music on 75% voice if you cannot save yourself so much...

only if you dont hear them too close they are fine...

i have normalized most of my rock music to 75% sound using audio conversion software. so even if i do full volume its 75% of the original sound.. and i listen to lower sound try it...

also do try listening to music at lower sound volume.. this will help you listen even small chirps.. our ear curtain(dont know the official bio word for it) is very sensitive stuff. its like a bad bridge where soldiers cant march together... so let the soldiers walk at ease or the bridge will collapse.

do note, if you listening to whistling too often, you got serious problems if you believe me.
