Thread: Insect Bite

around 3 weeks back some insect most prob a red ant bit me on my neck. my skin being sensitive got infected badly and it burnt a large patch of skin on my neck. the dermatologist gave some anti biotics and halobetasol propinate cream which dried infected in just 2 days and since then there is a dryness in that part and a big red patch. I am more worried if i get a scar there. is there any remedy to ensure i wont get a scar? i am still applying the same ointment with no affect.

that would be a problem if it looks like you have a hickey every day ;-)

P.S. there is another problem my skin is quiet sensitive it doesnt accept most of the cosmetics. My only options are johnson baby oil baby lotion baby cream baby soap and baby powder. so i doubt i will be able to apply cocoa butter or not.

For sensitive skin I would recommend Cetaphil cream. It is
ultra moisturizing and is non comedogenic.

Use the gentle skin cleanser first (don't use soap) and
then apply the moisurizer.



Cocoa butter is also natural and I don't think it would
irritate your skin.

Now you understand why I got 90% on that gay test ;-)

well i normally dont get any pimple or blackhead or acnes have got a clear skin but when i was a kid my mom mostly used to make us apply raw turmeric paste,curd with lemon juice in it for hair and even for skin, and urad daal paste and otherwise just baby products so somehow as i started growing up whenever i try a new cosmetic i get rashes.
